Tantric Yin & Meditation + Chillout DJ Set

Tantric yoga is a practice of being more aware, awake & connected to ourselves on an intimate level.

Tantra is to be in touch with our breath, our heart, our thought patterns, to what's happening in our body energetically & how we show up in our lives.

Similarly, Yin yoga is an inward, slow-paced, grounded practice. Giving time & space to feel into sensation & notice inner dialogue. Yet, instead of resisting, surrender.

A meditative practice that involves just a few poses, held for longer periods of time with an emphasis on stillness, encouraging qualities like patience & observation, giving our mind & nervous system a a much-needed chance to rebalance & relax.

The afternoon will be accompanied by a Chilled Out Electronic DJ Set - recorded live by Ecstatic Dance DJ wildcalm - ME!

This workshop will include:

~ Dharma - a short talk on the philosophical context

~ Pranayama - tantric breath work to relax the nervous system

~ Tantric meditation - guided meditation to connect to your senses

~ Tantric Activation - gentle rhythmic tantric flow - helps to rid the body & mind of restlessness so we’re better able to drop into stillness.

~ Yin yoga - a meditative sequence of passive stretches

~ Relaxation - to balance yin & yang energies

Mats, blocks, blankets & bolsters all provided for a luxuriously sensual afternoon experience.
