Winter Solstice Ceremony Yoga & Meditation

As the shortest day and the longest night of the year, we use the darkness for reflection and celebrate the return of the light and brighter days ahead.

Making space to slow down, turn inwards and listen, to set intentions for the new cycle.

Different results aren't found from the same energy so we can use this opportunity for new starts and fresh energy.

Moving through the medicine wheel as used in shamanic traditions and blending old with new in philosophy, yoga and ritual, this will be a nourishing afternoon to put down what we don't want to carry into the new year and get inspired with what possibility awaits.

All welcome, however be aware there will be a shorter dynamic flow to move out heavy energy followed by a longer yin sequence to stretch deeper tissues.

Also including yoga nidra (saskrit for yogic sleep) a gentle yet deep relaxation meditation with restorative properties.
